Napa Half Marathon


The Half Marathon course starts at Skyline Park and travels north on 4th Avenue and then continues north on 3rd Avenue to Olive Hill Lane and Hagen Road. The course then loops back on 1st Avenue to Coombsville Road with an additional loop on North Road. The final portion of the course returns on south of 4th Avenue back to Skyline Park. Click for a detailed view of the course. 

The 5K course follows the Half Marathon route east and north out of Skyline Park and tours the vineyards and quaint homes through the rolling hills of east Napa. The course will turn around at 1.55 miles while on fourth avenue and retrace the route to the downhill finish in Skyline Park. 

Packet Pick-up:  Packets will be available for pick-up from 10 AM to 7 PM on Thursday, Sep 24th and Friday, Sep 25th, and from 10 AM to 6 PM on Saturday, Sep 26th, at Athletic Feat, 3377 Solano Ave, Napa 94558. Packets will also be available for pick-up on race morning from 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM.

Chip Timing:  All registrants will have disposable timing chips attached to the back of their race bibs. Participants must wear their race bib on the front of their clothing. The bib must not be covered by any other clothing. All registered finishers will appear in the overall race results.

Parking:  Parking will be limited to inside Skyline Park in the open fields on the west side of the park. A fee of $5 per car will be charged at the entrance (cash only). The fee goes directly to Skyline Wilderness Park and also allows you to use the park for the day. We encourage participants to carpool. No parking is available or will be allowed along Imola Ave adjacent to the park.

Day of Race Registration:  In-person registration will be available adjacent to the start area on race morning from 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.

Results:  Race results will be printed and posted at the event following the race. Race results will also be posted on www.napahalf.com. Age group results will be included. Male and female age groups: 12-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

Awards:  The 1st place male and female finishers in half marathon will win a pair of shoes (up to $125 value) at Athletic Feat. The male and female winners of each age group will receive an award.

Random Prize Drawing:  All participants will be automatically entered into a drawing for prizes from our various sponsors.

Shoe Recycling:  We recycle used running shoes. Please bring your old shoes into the store for recycling.

More Info:  This is an open course and runners will need to be cautious of vehicles on the roadway. There is a 4 hour maximum for the race. Water/Aid stations will be available every 2-3 miles on the course. Pets and strollers will not be allowed, sorry!
