ABOUT THE RACE

  • It is a virtual race.
  • Dates: Run the race any time between October 10th and October 18th
  • Registration is required, deadline to register is October 18th.
  • Results must be submitted by midnight on October 20th to Dale (sledge26.2@gmail.com).
  • Any disputes or discrepancies must be submitted to Nuvit (nuvitf@hotmail.com) and Margie (Margie.alghanim@gmail.com)

RACE COURSE | COURSE MAP | GARMIN COURSE

  • Park at Home Depot Parking lot.
  • Start the race by running down to Bicentennial Way.
  • Take a right on Bicentennial
  • Right on Lake Park Drive
  • Left on Bella Vista Way
  • Cross to Alturia Dr, and take a left on Alturia towards Fountaingrove Pkwy
  • Right on Fountaingrove Pkwy
  • Take Chanate Rd exit
  • Right on Chanate
  • Continue on Chanate to Mendocino Ave. SAFETY NOTE: There is a section on Chanate rd with no sidewalk, before the old hospital, please be careful, and watch for traffic.
  • Right on Mendocino
  • Right on Home Depot Driveway back to parking lot.

RULES FOR THE RACE

  • Race must be run between the set dates.
  • The race course should be run clockwise starting at the Home Depot parking lot. COURSE MAP
  • You must wear a GPS or an equivalent device that will show time, distance, and the course you ran.
  • You must run the loop without stopping your device.
  • When you turn in your results, be sure it is in a form that Dale can check your time and the course.
  • Handicap timing will be included in results. HANDICAP TABLE
  • Buffs with new ER logo for top 50 finishers.
RULES FOR COVID SAFETY
  • No more than 10 people gathering
  • You must be at least 6 feet apart from others unless you are passing.
  • Wear a mask
  • When you have a group, each person should start with few minute delays.
  • You can only run together with a family member or someone you live with.
  • Park only in permitted areas.
  • Obey all park rules and regulations.
