Spring Lake Regional Park, Santa Rosa
Bragging rights are on the line in this 29th-annual 2-mile cross country race to be held at Spring Lake on Saturday, September 19th, with a 9:45 a.m. start. Locals can gather old schoolmates and those who went to high school outside the area need only locate runners from their region. For example, an Indiana high school grad would likely be teamed up with others from that region of the country to form a "USA Midwest" team in the race. It only takes 3 runners to make a team and team size is unlimited. Regional teams will be formed on race day and every entrant will be placed on a team. Individual medals and ribbons will be awarded.
The race is a feature event in the middle of the Viking Opener high school invitational. So grab your old teammates and get in on the fun!
$10 day of race. Note: there is a fee to drive into Spring Lake Park, unless you have a parks pass. Registration begins at 8:00a.m. at the field next to the boat ramp parking lot. Registration closes at 9:30.
