There is no place more stunning in wine country than Sonoma Valley on a late September morning. The annual Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival 12K and the historic 5K runs will take you through some of the most scenic areas of downtown Sonoma, through vineyards and majestic tree covered roads. This event is open to individual runners, families, groups and even those that would just like to take a morning walk.

Take advantage of the weekend by participating in other Vintage Festival events. Special discounted package deals are available for the Friday night opening gala featuring wine tasting and terrific food provided by local restaurants and live music to dance the night away under the stars in the famous Sonoma barracks compound. Other packages include the Sunday “Grape Stampede” grape stomp competition for runners and weekend wine tasting on the plaza.
