Val Sell
Val has been one of our top runners for years. When she and Cathy DuBay both turned 40 at 
the same time, we knew we had the 1-2 punch that could (and did) finally dethrone the 
Impalas from their dominance of the Women Masters Division in the PA XC Series. She 
extended her love of running to coaching at Montgomery High School and finally to getting 
much more involved in running the club. She is following her two years as President with
directing the Kenwood Footrace, and continues to have a hand in most club activities, 
somehow finding the time while raising a family and working a job.  Her talent and 
dedication carried us through a period when many of the old timers were burning out. But 
the Club endures, continuing to attract the sort of people others want to follow.
